Are you looking for a great family friendly dip recipe? This Beefy Broccoli Dip would be great for tailgating or family game night!
This recipe came from the Gooseberry Patch Super-Fast Slow Cooking Cookbook.
I have said this before but if you know me you know I like to sneak in veggies wherever I can! Dips are one of my favorite ways to do this! Cut up some apples for a side and this dip could be your dinner!
Here is another one of our favorite “veggie” dips, Creamy Hot Bacon Corn Dip.
Beefy Broccoli Dip
When I know life is about to get busy I like to grab some frozen hamburger out of the freezer and cook up a big batch, drain and let it cool. I then separate it by pound and freeze the ground beef. Then on busy nights I can pull our a pound of ground beef and make spaghetti, sloppy joes or this dip in minutes!
I love this recipe because I can usually toss it together with ingredients I have on hand. You can play with the spicy kick of the recipe by using a medium or hot salsa. I usually like to make it with mild for the kids.
To make this recipe toss all the ingredients in the crock pot and cook for a couple hours, make sure you stir a couple times. I recommend using a 4 qt. crock pot. Serve with tortilla chips!
