Eat, Drink, Play by Color: Green

This post is all about the color GREEN.

Here are quick links to the other colors/dinner ideas, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW , GREEN, BLUE and PURPLE.

I tried to have around 5 things for each color/meal including a meat, starch, fruit, veggie and dairy item (we are dairy farmers you know!).

I couldn’t resist the opportunity to make green eggs and ham the Dr. Seuss classic for the green meal. “Do you like green eggs and ham?” I made a Green Eggs and Ham Frittata with Spinach and it was a hit! My 3 year old called it egg pizza, because I cut it into the traditional pizza triangles. If you wanted to make it more green, you could add green food coloring.

The sides were broccoli, kiwi, green peppers and peas. We used the peas to spell out the word green so we could work on our letters.
