My hubby’s grandma had requested these cookies for a while now. You know if grandma requests them, they have to be good!!
I could eat these for breakfast (and I did), lunch and dinner!!
Start by creaming the shortening and sugar.
Add the pumpkin
Mix in vanilla and cinnamon.
Add your baking soda and baking powder.
Stir in your flour.
The batter should look something like this!!
Get your scoop out!
Place on cookie sheet.
While the cookies are baking start your frosting. Add brown sugar and powdered sugar to your melted butter.
add your vanilla.
Stir until it looks like this!!
These cookies keep their shape and don’t flatten out like most cookies. So, don’t be alarmed!
Let cool for a couple minutes and scoop a spoonful of frosting on each while they are still warm.
