Welcome to the third week of Two Maids a Baking!! Thanks to everyone who linked up last week!! Did you happen to see the name of this dessert from Goodeness Gracious?!?
Holy Cow Cake… yeah that’s right up our alley!!
While this isn’t a “Holy Cow Cake” it is super yummy!!
Start by tossing in your softened butter.
Whip it, and whip it good!
Beat it, just beat it!
Okay, i’ll stop… Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the dry ingredients, including Clabber Girl Baking Powder.
Mix.
Add sour cream and vanilla.
Mix.
Make the streusel, you can add nuts if you like.
Be sure to heavily grease your pan.
Spoon in some dough.
Add half of the streusel and layer again.
Bake and enjoy!
Perfect for breakfast or a late night snack!!

This is one of my favorite cakes – my Mom has made this forever and it always makes me think of her!
Good job girlfriend…looks ‘Mazing!
My mom made it too, or at least a close version. We made it in a 9 x 13, but cakes always look better in a circle! YUMMY! Working on a post that I can link to several parties tomorrow. Too sleepy to finish now, but I will hit it first thing tomorrow!
I love this cake also, we have made it in a
9 x 13 as well. I just tried to upload a link 5 times and couldn’t get my photo to upload…..oh the joys of sattelite internet in the country! Maybe next time:)
This coffee cake looks delicious! Thanks for the recipe and also for hosting a fun linky party!
I’m your newest follower and would love for you to stop by and follow me, as well! This recipe would be perfect to share with my So Sweet Sunday linky party, going on now until tomorrow night. 🙂

Looks amazing. I have never ever made this cake although I know and have seen the recipe. Might just have to try it out now! I had great plans to have Hot Cross Buns to link up today. But it wasn’t meant to be. Next time? I’ll try.

Sour cream coffee cake is one of my favorites even if it doesn’t have chocolate chips! I have a recipe for one in the microwave.
That looks really moist and great tasting.

Love your blog and thanks for the party! Blessed Easter to you and yours!
pour me a cup of coffee (make mine a Latte) because I want to drink it while I eat this tasty looking cake for breakfast. Ummm….. Thanks for linking up to the Iron Chef Challenge and for hosting your baking linky.
I really shouldn’t look at recipes before breakfast! This looks so good and I’ll be trying it for either Easter Sunday or next week.
Thanks.
This sounds – and looks – Amazing! I can’t wait to try it out!
