Notes

Depending on where you live the availability of "ham loaf mix" may very, I haven't found it anywhere around here but my Aunt's have a place you can get it (but we live in different states). I am able to get ground ham in the lunch meat aisle at our local grocery store. This is what I use. Other people I know grind their own ham through a meat grinder or food processor. This would be a good way to use up leftover ham. The ground ham I get requires more ground pork to make the mix work. Otherwise you can always ask your butcher to make you a mix and ratio would be 2/3 ground cured ham and 1/3 ground pork.
If you use dry bread crumbs you may need to increase the amount of milk you use.
