Cook ziti pasta according to directions on the box.
In a skillet cook beef and sausage over medium heat until done (no longer pink) and drain grease.
Add the garlic, chopped onion, can of tomatoes and simmer for 3-5 minutes..
Stir in spaghetti sauce.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, ricotta, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
Drain pasta; add to cheese mixture and stir until blended.
Spoon a third of meat sauce into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and top with half the pasta mixture.
Repeat layers and top with remaining meat sauce.
Cover and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Uncover and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
