Blueberry Doughnuts

As an Amazon Associate and member of other affiliate programs, I earn from qualifying purchases.

My hubby and I both have a special place in out hearts for blueberry doughnuts.

I know, a match made in heaven!!

While these don’t taste exactly like our favorite from a local bakery they taste good in their own right!!

If you have a different recipe I would love to try it!!

Add the flour, sugar
baking powder,
salt,
and nutmeg and mix.
Add the buttermilk.
Slightly beat 2 eggs and
add to the mixture.
Add melted butter and mix together.
Make sure your blueberries are dry. I cut some of mine in half because they were pretty large.
Add a couple teaspoons of flour to the blueberries so they don’t bleed into your batter.
Fold gently into the batter.
I poured the batter into a large plastic bag.
Cut off one of the corners.
Use the bag to help fill the pan 2/3 full and bake.
Make the glaze by adding milk and vanilla to the powdered sugar.
Whisk together.
Pour or dip doughnuts in glaze.
I put a cookie sheet into a another pan so the glaze can drip.
Enjoy!!
