Happy Tuesday!! Thanks to those who linked up last week!! This week I whipped up a quick and easy appetizer that tastes like you worked on it for hours!
I love using the log Brie it works great for this recipe! Pillsbury came out with the seamless crescent rolls, sweet!! You can also use puff pastry!
Start by rolling out your dough
Cut the Brie almost in half and score the inside
Spoon on your favorite jam. I used apricot because that was what I had opened!
Smear! Technical cooking term!!
Grab a handful of mixed fruit, you could also use nuts, brown sugar, etc.
Place the log on the dough.
Wrap it up
Finsh and flip over so the seam in on the bottom
Cut off the ends
I made rolls for dinner with them!
Bake
Let cool for about 10 minutes
Yummy!!
Ingredients:
1 large sheet of puff pastry or one tube of crescent rolls seamless dough
1 log or round of Brie
Seedless Jam – I used Apricot
Dried mixed fruit
Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 (longer if you are using a round brie) minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
So what has been baking in your kitchen!?!?
