Mixed Berry Cheesecake Trifle is the perfect summer dessert with layers of angel food cake, cream cheese, cheesecake pudding, whipped cream and fresh berries.
I love cold desserts in the summer, perfect way to end a hot day. This recipe uses Angel Food Cake, you can make it from scratch or pick one up at the grocery store (hello short cut!) but it could also be made with pound cake. My friend Jent from The Farmwife Feeds has a great Pound Cake Recipe, check it out.
I just love this Trifle Bowl the stand is separate and it comes with a lid. You can use whatever glass bowl you have or you can make individual trifles in smaller trifle bowls or glass wine glasses.

I have a boy that doesn’t like chocolate so I need all the non chocolate dessert recipes. He does however love cheesecake, hence why I chose cheesecake pudding and cream cheese to add to this trifle recipe. The best way to make the cream cheese cool whip combination not have chunks is to make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before you mix together. It will also help if you whip the cream cheese before adding it to the cool whip.
