Grandma’s Baked Hot Dogs with Tomato Soup recipe is served in a bun and is a quick meal that is perfect for busy families.
This recipe is one that my husband grew up with and loved by the whole family. I will be honest I never grew up with anything like this and was a little skeptical when I heard about it. But I must say it is yummy and that says a lot because I don’t even like tomato soup!

Grandma’s Baked Hot Dogs with Tomato Soup
I have made this recipe with different brands of hot dogs and it doesn’t taste like grandmas unless you use Ballpark.
The tomato soup in this recipe serves as the sauce for the hot dog so you don’t have to worry about adding ketchup, etc. We do not eat the onions, just use them for flavor but if you are an onion lover you can serve it on the bun with the sauce.
How to Make Grandma’s Baked Hot Dogs with Tomato Soup
This recipe is easy to make just put all ingredients in a greased baking dish and bake. The hot dogs may split while cooking but that won’t affect the taste. There is nothing fancy about this recipe but it is one that will always have us thinking about Grandma!
