Instant Pot Creamy Herb Chicken is an easy chicken dinner recipe the whole family will love!

Some time it can be tricky to find the ingredients for this dish but I was able to find them all at my local Walmart. This recipe uses a garlic and herb soup mix and then two different types of cream of soups, roasted garlic and chicken with herbs soup.

The best part about this recipe is you dump and go. All ingredients get added to the Instant Pot and cooked together making for a quick dinner.

Chicken tenders are used in this recipe because they cook quicker than a chicken breast. If you want to use a chicken breast I recommend that you cut the breast into 3 or 4 smaller portions so the chicken cooks to 165 degrees.

I have only made this recipe with penne pasta. I do not know how it will work with different shapes of pasta.

Instant Pot Creamy Herb Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lb penne pasta uncooked
  • 1 10.34 ounce can cream of chicken with herbs soup
  • 1 10.34 ounce can cream of mushroom with roasted garlic
  • 1 1.2 ounce package savory, garlic and herb soup mix
  • 1 lb chicken tenders thawed approximately 6-7 tenders

Instructions

  • Add the water, chicken broth and pasta to the Instant Pot liner.
  • Pour the 2 cans of soup on top.
  • Sprinkle the packet of soup mix on top.
  • Add the chicken.
  • Secure the lid and cook Manual High for 3 minutes.
  • Let the dish NPR (Natural Pressure Release) for 6 minutes and then quick release.
