I whipped up three recipes from the cookbook to share with you!
Mommy’s Pasta Fagioli was a huge hit at our house! Even my picky eater hubby loved it! This is a recipe that will be on our farmhouse menu in the future! Click here for the recipe.

The recipe for Root Beer Cake caught my eye the first time I flipped through the cookbook. I had never heard of such a thing and knew I had to make it! I brought the cake to the farm and it was gobbled up in minutes! Click here for the recipe!

  1. Looks like I agree with most everyone here…I tend to make chili in the winter but rarely in the warmer months. I have recently started making soups quite often since everyone in the house works a different schedule. Easier for them to just heat up and great for taking lunches to work for me! I would love to own this book for the soup/salad chapter alone!

  2. My family loves Beef Stew. I make it really thick and love dipping buttered French bread in it. Yum Yum Yum

  3. My family loves my recipe for chicken breast with gravey made in a crock pot. And then of course we have to have the homemade mashed potatoes to go with it. Nothing like comfort food!

  4. I love to make soups in the winter, a huge pot we can go grab bowls of for a couple days. I just made venison chili in the crockpot the other day for the first time….it was yummy!
