Are you looking for a new crock pot recipe that will be a big hit with the family? This Slow Cooker Cheesy Ravioli Casserole is a family favorite!
I have made this recipe a couple different times now and the last time I made it I threw all the ingredients together in the crock pot at home and took it to the farm office and cooked it. Apparently, the smell carried and people came out of the woodwork wondering what it was that smelled so good! I doubled the recipe on this particular day so we had plenty to share. I even got a complement from my meat and potato loving farmer father-in-law who isn’t a fan of pasta. That doesn’t happen very often so you know this recipe is a keeper!
Slow Cooker Cheesy Ravioli Casserole
You could almost call this a ravioli lasagna. You layer it the same way you would a lasagna except the layer of cheese is already included in the pasta so I just sprinkled the shredded cheese on the top.

I love to make my pasta sauce with both sausage and hamburger. I love the flavor the combination has so I often double the sauce portion using a pound of both and freezer the other half for a quick weekday meal.
I do not cook the pasta before hand.
Serve with a side salad, garlic bread or bread sticks and you are set!

Do you use grated parm cheese or fresh/bagged and shredded parm?
Looks delicious and I cannot wait to try it!!
Thanks!
Either will work, I have used both. It just depends on what I have on hand. Enjoy!
Trying this tonight….my husband walked in the door and said he cant wait to eat, its smells wonderful.
Can’t wait to hear what he thought!
Can I cook this on high??
Yes you can, but the time will be less. Most likely 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the style crock pot so I would watch it the first time to make sure it doesn’t over cook. Enjoy!
Can you use canned raviolis instead of frozen?
I am not sure the canned ravioli would hold up texture wise in the crock pot. But I have never made it that way to know for sure.

I use grated! Enjoy!
This is my kind of meal!
This sounds like the perfect comfort food!
Looks fabulous!!
This will be gone in seconds in my house! Good thing it is so easy to prepare!
I’m all about my slow cooker this time of year!
Wow this looks amazing!
Thanks Erin!
This is a great way to get dinner on the table during those busy weeknights!
Looks like a recipe the entire family will love!
Ravioli is always a winner in our house!
Hi, if you were to double the recipe, would it longer than the 4 hours?
Ohhhhh, we LOVE ravioli around here! I have my go-to baked ravioli recipe, but this sounds good…and easy! One question – my picky hubs doesn’t like diced tomatoes (or any chunky vegetable!). Should I just add a can of tomato sauce to this instead, or just leave them out entirely? Thanks!
Ha, my picky husband doesn’t like the tomato chunks either. You can leave them out and don’t need to substitute. 🙂
Is there a certain flavor/type of spaghetti sauce that tastes better than most? My hubby likes vodka sauce but not sure if that will taste funny or not?
Also, the bag of ravioli I bought has beef in the pasta, would you still recommend adding the burger to it or no? Thank you!😊
I normally just use traditional but vodka might be good, I just haven’t ever tried it. I use beef and/or cheese ravioli depending on what I have on hand. I always make a meat sauce because my farmers like their meat 🙂 but you wouldn’t have too!
What is the serving size. .we are going to our family reunion this weekend and this sounds awesome
I would say it would serve 4 adults. I often double it when bringing it places!
Can you add a layer of ricotta mixture? Saw a recipe to bake that had it & wondered if it works in the slow cooker.
