Looks like I agree with most everyone here…I tend to make chili in the winter but rarely in the warmer months. I have recently started making soups quite often since everyone in the house works a different schedule. Easier for them to just heat up and great for taking lunches to work for me! I would love to own this book for the soup/salad chapter alone!
My family loves Beef Stew. I make it really thick and love dipping buttered French bread in it. Yum Yum Yum
My four children love it when I make Cranberry chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and rolls. I am excited to try the potato roll recipe to go along with this meal!
I like to make barbeque sandwiches .They smell so good while they are cooking and when they are done is the best part.
My favorite recipe to make in winter is chili. I love the warmth and comfort that comes from a hot bowl of chili in cold weather. 🙂
Ham and potato soup, lentil soup with bacon, lentil chili, chicken noodle soup…nothing warms you up like homemade soup =)
My family loves my recipe for chicken breast with gravey made in a crock pot. And then of course we have to have the homemade mashed potatoes to go with it. Nothing like comfort food!
Childhood favorite was always Beef and Bean BBQ. Nieces are in their 30’s and always request when they come home.
looking forward to trying the rootbeer cake. the ladies at work will be in heaven again.
Rootbeer cake! Yummy!
I love to make soups in the winter, a huge pot we can go grab bowls of for a couple days. I just made venison chili in the crockpot the other day for the first time….it was yummy!
